Powder coating plant

A powder coating plant is available from one of our customers, with the following characteristics:

• Maximum workpiece dimension: 450 W x 1200 L x 2000 H or 700 W x 700 L x 1000 H
• Design speed: 1 m/1’
• Hook load capacity: 70 kg
• Year of construction: 1998
• Area covered by the plant: 25 x 9 m
• Height required: 7 m

The system consists of the following units:

• A 3-stage pre-treatment tunnel in AISI 304 stainless steel with a RIELLO methane gas burner. Stainless steel spray ramps and PPL nozzles.
• A bell-type drying and curing oven with a RIELLO methane gas burner.
• An AISI 304 stainless steel, multi-colour powder coating booth with an automatic powder recovery system, 2 manual coating stations, 2 cyclones, and a self-cleaning cartridge filter. The bottom consists of an inclined, vibrating hopper for conveying the powders to the fluidised bed container.
• Powder application equipment:
  • N° 02 “GEMA” manual guns complete with the required equipment
  • Venturi pumps and connection pipes for powder feeding
• A box profile overhead monorail conveyor with these characteristics:
  • Length: approx. 134 m
  • Hook pitch: 1200 mm
  • Hook load capacity: 70 kg
  • Chain breaking load: 5000 kg
  • Automatic lubricator
• A general electric control panel.
